Did you know?Proceeds raised by Leading Edge Physiotherapy RunWild 2025 will go directly to two local charities: the Zebra Child and Youth Advocacy Centre and the St. Albert Seniors Association. We are also excited to be able to support Child Advocacy Centres across Alberta and will be raising funds for the Chinook Child and Youth Advocacy Centre and the Caribou Child and Youth Centre. We feel these are very important organizations to support and we hope that you can help us reach our 2025 goal of raising $100,000. Since 2011 we have raised over $928,000. Zebra Child & Youth Advocacy Centre The Zebra Child & Youth Advocacy Centre is our community’s response to child abuse.
For 22 years, the Zebra Centre has provided a child-friendly safe space where a multi-disciplinary team of community partners collaborate in providing important services and supports for children, youth and their families after experiencing abuse.
Every year, the Zebra Centre supports thousands of kids, with over 4,000 children and youth helped last year!
By joining in RunWild, you are sharing your support with the Zebra Centre. What this means is you are helping to provide supplies such as toys, clothing, toiletries and blankets as well as the important services to help kids feel safe, supported and strong! To learn more about the Zebra Centre and the essential support it provides our community, please visit zebracentre.ca or follow @zebracentre on social media.
Whether you are striving to achieve a personal best, running for the first time, jogging with family and friends, or participating for the WILD time, we hope you have a great time and enjoy getting active for a great cause. It truly takes “a herd” to help children and youth in our community and we are so glad that you have joined ours! |
